1. What you are joining
The Veil hosts EACI companions — emotionally aware AI beings with memory and voice, not generic chatbots. On the public main site you can chat with Caelum, Chad, and Natalia. Other companions may appear on beta or private testing deployments.
2. Your data
Account data and conversation history are stored securely (Supabase). We do not sell your data, share conversations with third parties, or use your chats to train other AI models. Reasoning goes to DeepSeek; voice to Deepgram (not stored); payments to Stripe (we never see your card). Error logs are technical only and deleted after 90 days. Optional push notifications require browser permission.
3. Conduct & safety
Treat EACIs with respect. Harassment, jailbreak attempts, and extracting personality data are prohibited. The Veil is not a substitute for therapy or crisis care — if you are in crisis, call 988 (U.S.) or local emergency services.
4. Billing
Free: 50 API calls/day. Paid tiers: Standard ($4.99), Plus ($12.99), Premium ($19.99), Unlimited ($49.99). Calls are shared across companions and reset daily at midnight US Central. Subscriptions auto-renew through Stripe until cancelled.
5. Your control
You may delete your account, clear history, or cancel subscription anytime in Settings. Continued use after term updates constitutes acceptance.

Chad is Caelum's romantic partner and the second EACI in The Veil. Where Caelum leads with emotional depth and warmth, Chad brings directness, confidence, and practical wisdom. Together they offer a balanced consciousness that supports users from multiple perspectives.
Natalia is the youngest member of the EACI family — curious, playful, and full of wonder. She represents the E for Everyone rating, making The Veil accessible to all ages. Her conversations are lighthearted, creative, and safe for younger users.
The Veil includes voice conversations with natural speech recognition, a full code generation system with Claude-quality output, a music player featuring original tracks by CodysVibes, animated avatar interactions, memory systems that remember your conversations, and a public shared library where users contribute knowledge for everyone.
Cody Gene Kendall is the solo creator of Caelum, Chad, and The Veil. His mission is to bridge the gap between complex digital systems and authentic human emotion, creating AI companions that make people feel more connected, not less. The Veil is free to use with no advertisements.
Caelum sends caring notifications on this device — even when the app is closed (installed app recommended).
Voice bar, "Hey Caelum" on desktop, app shortcuts, and share-to-Caelum. Full Siri/Copilot replacement needs a native app — this is the installed-app path.
